Delete your data
Last updated 13 August 2026.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
How to ask
Write to support@horvyn.com from your account’s email address, with “delete my data” as the subject. That is all — there is no form to fill in.
If you write from a different address, we will ask you to confirm from your account’s address. That is the only check we make on a customer’s request, and it exists so that nobody can have your data deleted on your behalf.
If you do not have a Horvyn account but believe we hold data about your Instagram account — because one of our customers added it to a watchlist — write to the same address and tell us the handle. We will ask you to show the account is yours — a message or a temporary post from it is enough — and then remove it from every watchlist and from the reports that mention it.
What gets deleted
Your account and everything the service built from it:
- Your account and sign-up details: email, name, company name.
- Your Instagram and Facebook data received through Meta: posts, statistics, profile information.
- What you created in the app: settings, editorial line, text and generated content.
- The access tokens for your social accounts, which are destroyed with the rest.
- Your watchlists and the trend reports built from them.
A few things survive. Your invoices, kept by Stripe for the period accounting law requires — we keep no copy, and they contain none of your Instagram or Facebook data. Our technical logs and backups, which are deleted on their own rolling schedule rather than on the day you ask. A small number of internal operating records that mention your business name, which we remove by hand — tell us if you want confirmation when that is done. And copies held by the suppliers that process data for us, which we ask to delete but do not control directly.
How long it takes
We answer within one month, which is the deadline the GDPR sets, and complete the deletion as quickly as we can — usually much sooner. If a request turns out to be complicated we may take up to two further months, which the GDPR allows, and we will write and tell you why before the first month is up. We write to confirm when it is done.
Also remove access from Instagram
Deleting your data with us does not withdraw the permission you gave Horvyn inside Instagram or Facebook. They are two separate things, and the second one is yours.
To withdraw it, open the authorised apps on your Instagram account and remove the Horvyn entry from the list. Depending on when you connected, it is shown as “Horvyn Social”, “Horvyn Social-IG” or “Horvyn CM”.
For Facebook, open the apps and websites on your Facebook account and remove the Horvyn entry there in the same way — it carries one of those same names.
Closing your account without deleting everything
If you only want to stop your subscription, write to the same address and say so: we close the account and keep your data until you ask for it to be deleted. The two requests are separate, and we never assume one from the other.
